This work was conceptualized to immortalize the emotions that are felt when one understands the necessity, permanence, and unavoidability of death, yet cannot accept the knowledge. The ensemble is given a great amount of ability to show off their musicality through the meandering sustains that never quite resolve correctly.
 
This work has no actual title, hence the opus number in parenthesis. When citing this work on programs, simply leave the title area blank.
